For our lady players, we can not recommend enough Babolat Pure Drive 2021. This racket provides a variety of features that are necessary on the court for serve and volley technique, while offering a great deal of comfort, as well. It features a mid-size head and, when strung, weighs around 318 grams or 11.2 ounces. 

While it might look hefty, the frame is actually pretty light and easy to maneuver due to the brand’s innovative technology and design. At the baseline, Babolat Pure Drive can generate explosive spin and speed, which can easily turn the racket into a weapon. It can also generate a decent amount of power, which is easy to tap into or control so that it does not become overwhelming. The racket has a soft touch and dampens the harsh vibration for extra arm comfort. 

The added weight of the frame provides the player enough control and stability to hit targets with accuracy and set the pace of the game. For the sake of honesty, there were times when we wished for more control during the playtest, however, but this is not something that would ruin performance. Overall, this is a great racket and gave us little to complain about.
